'Capture Your Voice In MoCap' with Phil Stilgoe

TUESDAY 2ND MARCH 2021 

This 3-hour online workshop is designed for 10 voiceover artists to read scripts and receive direction from Phil. This is a fantastic opportunity to receive direction and critiques that can help you hone in on your voiceover skills. 

Phil is the C.E.O at Centroid Motion Capture. A Motion Capture veteran of 24 years, he has worked on many award-winning movies and games on both sides of the Atlantic. Following a number of successful Indian productions, he has recently expanded his experience and expertise to Mumbai, in the form of Centroid India. Phil was part of the team which first supplied optical facial data for a Hollywood feature, capturing Gary Oldman as 'Spider Smith' for 'Lost In Space' in the mid 1990's. To this day Phil continues to push the boundaries of virtual production and character pipelines across the entertainment industries, and now sits on educational steering committees to support the next generation of digital performance practitioners.

THE WORKSHOP BREAKDOWN 

This is a workshop designed for voice actors of all levels of experience. 

In this workshop Phil will be working 121 with 10 voice actors. This will be a fun, creative and interactive 3-hours taking scripts and receiving direction from Phil. You will learn skills you can use in auditions plus on the job. This is an incredible opportunity!

There are 2 options - the first is to book a spot as a reader, there are only 10 of these available! The second is to be a watcher, this is where you don't do any reading but you get to sit in and watch how Phil works with each actor and directs them.
