Impromptu Character workshop with Stephane Cornicard October 2018
'Impromptu Character' workshop
with Stephane Cornicard
By popular demand.....it's back! We are extremely excited to present this two day workshop focused on creating characters for voice acting with the talented and gifted voice actor, actor and voice director Stephane Cornicard.
Stephane is one of the busiest voice actors in the industry right now and there is a good reason for that.
The VoiceOver Network brings you this two day workshop focusing on the process involved in developing credible, precise and inhabited characters. Learn how to “step” into character.
- Do you want to learn how to step into a character with confidence?
- Are you interested in creating characters that are believable?
- Do you want to develop the skills to move from one character to the next, learning to trust your instincts?
- Do you want to work on your improvisation skills?
- Can you get to London on 6th and 7th October 2018?
If the answer is yes, then this is the workshop for you.
'This is without a doubt the BEST acting class on Planet Earth! Stephane taught us techniques and practices to make any script come to life, and illustrated each and every exercise with his own masterful acting skills.' Gabriel Porras
All voiceovers is acting so the skills you learn in this workshop you can use in all areas of voiceovers especially video games, audiobooks, animations as well as all other areas.
The industry tends to “pigeon hole” actors. Casting directors cast talent in “safe” parts. The result is that as actors, we seldom get to explore and stretch our acting range.

"This is a great course for voice actors and for anyone wanting to develop their voice acting skills. From jumping in with unseen scripts, to improv, to ADR, the exercises give you real life experience of what it’s like to act on the job. And tailored specifically for those working with a mic. All led by an incredibly passionate, skilled & experienced voice actor, Stephane Cornicard, who inspires as much as he teaches." Gwen Watson
This “safe place” workshop aims to train the very particular set of muscles and thought processes involved in creating characters. Through improvisation and borrowing from various methods and systems, you will learn to move from character to character, from emotion to emotion and from genre to genre, giving you more confidence to approach and create “impromptu” characters, and a better control of the process.
“Insightful and Inspirational. Stephane is full of knowledge and tips.” Natalie Chisholm

If you work in or want to work in video games, animation, audiobooks or radio and audio dramas this will be a fantastic workshop for you.
