‘Fear of improve - 12 steps’ 3 hour online workshop with Scott Parkin
The VoiceOver Network Presents
'Fear of Improv - 12 Steps' 3 hour online workshop
with SCOTT PARKIN
Learning how to improv can help an voice actor approach a script in many different ways. Actors who can create their own characters on the spot can often bring much more to an audition and ultimately help book the gig. Whether it's commercials, promo's, animation, video games and more understanding techniques to create and deliver an unforgetable read can make all the difference.
In order to be competitive in today's market you must be able to deliver a conversational read that is believable. This type of read is here to stay and one of the best ways to work on it is by using improv.
Improvising can be really scary but much less so when we de mystify it through learning some tricks and strengthening some skill sets.
Scott will help you sharpen the skills you already have and learn new skills that will help you compete for more work. This workshop will be a fun, engaging, interactive workshop plus a safe space to stretch out and gain confidence in your abilities.
